Upcoming Saturday opening:
Upcoming Wednesday late night opening:
We have EARLY surgeries every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for patients who are unable to attend clinics at other time of the day (these start from 7:30am). A particular day may not be available time to time due to rota conditions (although this rarely happens), please contact surgery before making your own time available to confirm we are open.
In addition, we open on ONE Saturday morning every month (usually from 8:30 – 11am) and ONE Wednesday late night every month (usually up to 7:45pm) for patients who cannot not attend at any other time. Please note that due to rota changes the late night on a Wednesday may have to be arranged for a different weekday.
The appointments at these times will be for ROUTINE matters, NOT EMERGENCIES.
They will be PRE-BOOKABLE ONLY.
Patients will be admitted to the building using the intercom by the front door. Patients will be asked to identify themselves by their name before the door is unlocked to allow them into the waiting room. This is for both staff and patient safety.
The telephones will not be manned at these extended times.
If you call the surgery between 6.00pm and 8.00 am you will hear an answering message giving options of who to contact with your medical emergencies that cannot wait till we reopen.
The telephones will only be answered by staff during normal opening hours 8am-6pm.
There are appointments available with GP’s, practice nurse and health care assistants during extended opening hours, although not all on the same day.

DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLE NATURE AND THE INCREASE IN CASES OF SWINE FLU WE WILL HAVE TO ALTER SURGERIES AT SHORT NOTICE, TO ALLOW FOR SICKNESS WITHIN THE PRACTICE TEAM, AND FOR INCREASED PRESSURE ON OUR SERVICES FROM PATIENTS WITH THE ILLNESS.
THIS WILL BE REVIEWED ON A WEEKLY BASIS.
WE WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR YOU CO-OPERATION AT THIS TIME AND
APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSES
THESE CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO ENABLE US TO MAINTAIN
A HIGH STANDARD OF PATIENT CARE.
