Beech House Medical Practice is a seven partner practice with approximately 9,500 patients. The practice is situated on Beech Avenue in Hazel Grove with a car park close by and disabled access to the surgery.
The main practice area is Hazel Grove and Great Moor but we do cover a small part of Offerton, Bramhall and High Lane.
We are a group practice with 7 GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, three Nurses and three Healthcare Assistants whose aim is to offer you comprehensive & high quality primary health care, under a PMS contract with Stockport PCT
We have a practice nurses who each have roles managing general nursing issues and offer a valuable service running various clinics, including those for long-term conditions. A Childhood Vaccination surgery is held every Tuesday morning.
Shirley Kendrick, Jackie Crossfield and Michelle Greenwood are Healthcare Assistants. Shirley, Jackie and Michelle work under the supervision of the nursing team and doctors enabling them to see patients, relieving some of the duties of the nurses, e.g. taking blood, checking blood pressures and health screening.
The reception and administrative staff are a very valued and important part of our practice team and without their efforts we would not be able to work efficiently.
We are considered a “paperless” practice. This means that all your consultations, hospital letters and results are recorded on and accessed by the practice staff/GPs on their desktop computers
District nurses, Macmillan Nurses, health visitors, physiotherapist, podiatrist and speech therapists are located in Hazel Grove Clinic situated next to the Practice.
District nurses provide a “Treatment Room” service. Please ring 426 9636 10am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday to book a appointment.
