I have been at Beech House Medical Practice since 1981 having qualified at Manchester University Medical School in 1975 and trained at North Manchester General Hospital, Ancoats Hospital and Withington Hospital in medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and accident and emergency.

I feel that the role of a family practitioner is a privileged one and I value the contact with my patients both in my professional medical role and as a family contact that spans the generations.

I am interested in all elements of general practice but particularly in diabetes and care of the elderly.

Outside the practice my hobbies are related to antiques and wine appreciation. I married in 1977 have one grown-up daughter.
